CENTRALIA — Centralia police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles after several vehicles were entered overnight on the east side of town.

As of late Friday morning, roughly half-dozen people had reported to the Centralia Police Department that their vehicle had been entered and items taken.

In addition to keeping your vehicles locked, police urge people to not leave valuables in their vehicles or at least don’t leave valuables in open view.

If you notice any suspicious activity, you’re urged to report it to police so they can investigate. Also, if your vehicle was entered, police ask that you report the incident to their agency.
