WASHINGTON COUNTY — A 39-year-old Centralia woman is facing felony charges in Washington County, after allegedly stealing from a Nashville home last fall.

Renee Clifton is charged in Washington County court with Class 1 felony of residential burglary, Class 4 felony for obstruction of justice and Class A misdemeanor for theft under $500.

According to the charging documents, Clifton allegedly entered a home in Nashville along West Maple Street on November 4th, without authority from the homeowner and with the intent to commit a theft. Clifton also allegedly stole $200 from another person that same date.

Class 1 felonies normally carry terms between 4 to 15 years in prison, while Class 4 offenses are punishable by up to 3 years in prison.

A jury trial is scheduled for April 22, with a preliminary hearing set for March 5.
