JEFFERSON COUNTY — A 32-year-old Mt. Vernon man was sentenced Thursday in Jefferson County court to 20 years in prison for reproducing child pornography.

A Jefferson County jury convicted Nathan R. Hall in October 2018 of a Class X felony for possessing, reproducing, and sharing or offering to share a video on or about June 17.

Hall had been held in the Jefferson County Jail since his July 2018 arrest with bail set at $100,000. That bail was revoked October 30, 2018, when the jury returned a guilty verdict in the case.

Hall admitted to reproducing or sharing a video in June that showed a female juvenile under the age of 13 engaging in a sex act.
