CLINTON COUNTY — Smoke could be seen for miles Friday afternoon coming from the burning wreckage of a vehicle involved in head-on crash on U.S. Highway 50 in Clinton County.
Details about the crash and possible injuries have not yet been released, but three fire units, two EMS vehicles and an Arch Air helicopter responded to the scene.

Three fire units, two EMS services and Arch Air Medical Service responded to the scene of an apparent head on collision between a passenger car and a tractor-trailer semi in Clinton County.
Smoke could be seen rising from Highway 50 at Flat Branch Road, just northwest of Carlyle, as one of the vehicles burned.
The call reporting the crash came in around 12:30 Friday afternoon.
