Box Office: Hunger Games 1 Spends Third Week at #1 [Video]

With the box office devoid of new life, Hunger Games held at the box office this weekend. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 spent its third week at #1 with $21.6 million. The film was far and away the topper, making it the first film since Guardians of the Galaxy in October to reign for more than two weeks. The film has now grossed $257.7 million domestically and $560.5 million worldwide on a $125 million budget; that puts it at #4 for films that opened in 2014 and it will pass both The LEGO Movie and Captain America: The Winter Soldier by the end of the day on Monday. The film is still likely to get close to $350 million stateside by the end of its run.
