Adele’s follow-up to her record breaking hit “21”, won’t be released until the end of 2015 or later. From Phil Collins announcing he was writing with Adele, to reports saying Adele’s team sold the LP to Sony, rumors have surrounded her next release since she stepped out of the spotlight in 2012. “21” has now sold more than 30 million copies in the United States alone.
According to Music Business Worldwide, her team is supportive of her taking her time on this project. So supportive, that there are suggestions that the album isn’t even guaranteed to arrive this year. Another source through MBW advised “The album will be released when it’s ready – [we] hope that will be at some stage in 2015. That’s all I can tell you right now.”
