CENTRALIA — Matthew Ryan Mario Miller, age 24, of Centralia, Illinois, formerly of Wamac, Illinois, passed away at 11:23 P.M. on Monday, August 12, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia, Illinois. He was born on October 15, 1988 in Nashville, Illinois, the son of Suzanne M. Tatro and Lonnie Gene Miller.
Matthew is survived by his mother Suzanne M. Tatro of Centralia, Illinois, father Lonnie Miller and wife Cheryl of Hohenwald, Tennessee, sister Jessica Miller and wife Amanda Miller of Carbondale, Illinois, half brother Jeremy Likens and wife Emily, half sister Shannon French, step sisters Bianca Bebble and Brandi Schutt, great uncle Eddie Dellamano of Freeburg, Illinois, uncle Maurice “Bud” Tatro of Marissa, Illinois, many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends including special friends Andy Bielong and Donald Garren and his guardian Annie.
Matthew was preceded in death by his grandparents, uncle Mark Mario Tatro and his many friends at MDA Camp.
Matthew was baptized Lutheran and attended the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Centralia, Illinois. He attended Centralia High School until his sophomore year in 2006. He loved to eat out at restaurants and always tried new foods on the menu. He enjoyed playing games on his laptop especially food games and also enjoyed the outdoors by going camping and fishing. Matthew was an avid collector of movies and Herbie the Love Bug memorabilia. He loved dinosaurs, Transformers including the Bumble Bee Transformer and his plants and animals. As his birthday was in October, he loved to celebrate Halloween with costume parties. He enjoyed riding around in his wheelchair and hanging out with his friends. He loved everyone he met and never knew a stranger. He lived in Centralia for the last 5 years and previously lived in Wamac, Illinois.
