He was born the son of Walter and Eleanora (Lange) Hinrichs on August 10, 1924 in Lone Groove Twp. He married Wanda Veal on May 27, 1966 in Vernon.
Norman is survived by his wife, Wanda Hinrichs of Vernon; two sons Monty Hack, wife Ellen of Webster, Florida; Ronald Hack, wife Misty of Vernon; five grandchildren Ace Hack, wife Lindsey; Amber Kauffman, husband Bruce; Justin Hack, wife Kerri; Jordan Hack and Shannon Hack; five great-grandchildren Cassandra Hack, Caleb Hack, Kylie Hack, Cameron Hack, and Bradon Kauffman; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers David, Donald, Robert, and Arden Hinrichs.
Norman farmed all his life and worked construction. He was a past Union Steward for Carpenters Union 634. He was also a member of the First Pentecostal Church.
Services for Norman will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Day Macz Funeral Home in Patoka with Pastor Larry Woodward officiating.
Burial will follow at Farmers Cemetery in Shobonier.
Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home in Patoka.
