She was born the daughter of Orville and Anna Busse McCoy on May 11, 1939. She married Charles William Fogliasso in Centralia on February 8, 1964. He preceded her in death on January 18, 2003.
Survivors include her daughter Deen Berry of Centralia; son Chuck Fogliasso of Fort Knox, Ky.; grandchildren Kayla Wedekemper and husband Thomas of Sandoval, Cy Fogliasso of Centralia, and Lindsey Fogliasso of Iuka; great-grandchildren Lily and Allie Wedekemper; sister Barbara Marek of Inverness, Fla.; sisters-in-law June McCoy of Centralia, Mary Hankins of Fort Smith, Ark., Patty Labiosa and husband Ralph of Georgetown, Texas; many nieces and nephews; and awaiting the arrival of great-granddaughter Wedekemper in April.
She was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter; siblings Bill McCoy, Helen Delaney, Virginia Stover, Ladonne Korzenewski; son-in-law Wayne Berry; and daughter-in-law Laura Fogliasso.
Mrs. Fogliasso was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was formerly a teacher’s aide at Sandoval Grade School and floral designer at Rethas Flower Shop in Central City. She loved crafts, painting ceramics, and cherished the time spent with family.
Services for Dorothy will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 5, 2014 at Day Macz Funeral Home in Sandoval with Rev. Ray Barnes officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Centralia.
Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the services on Monday at Day Macz Funeral Home in Sandoval.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Sandoval Fire Department.
