Paul Tyberendt

picture-pubCARLYLE — Paul W. Tyberendt, 93, of Carlyle, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at the Centralia Manor.

He was born May 2, 1920 in Clement Township the son of Addin and Anna (Reinksensmeyer) Tyberendt. He married Erna Redeker on November 19, 1950 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Ferrin. She preceded him in death on October 13, 1998. He later married Janice Kruse on September 28, 2002 at the Salem Lutheran Church. She preceded him in death on January 10, 2011.

Survivors include five daughters Marcella Tyberendt of Centralia, Cinda Miller of Mt. Olive, Vonda Draper and husband Ray, of Carlyle, Tina Frees and husband Richard, of Mansfield, Texas, Gina Bierbaum and husband Bill, of Papillion, Nebraska; sister Helen Knolhoff of Carlyle; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to being preceded in death by Erna and Janice, he was preceded in death by both of his parents; and three sisters Esther Boester, Edna Boester and Ruth Neuhaus.

Paul attended the Ferrin Lutheran School through Seventh Grade and finished his Eighth Grade year at Shady Side School. He was employed with Unverfehrt Farm Supply, Better Build, and Bob Michael Lumbar Yard. He farmed most of his life. He was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church. Nothing pleased him more than spending time with his great-grandchildren.

Services for Paul will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the Salem Lutheran Church with Rev. Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2014 at Day Macz Funeral Home in Sandoval and one hour prior to the services Saturday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salem Lutheran Church.
