According to Centralia Police detective Captain Richard Densmore, Michael Keith Tolliver was pronounced dead at the scene last night of multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to the city morgue, where an autopsy is anticipated to be performed today.

Densmore says Tolliver was living with a handicapped man at the home. The man said there w

as a knock at the door last night and when Tolliver opened the door, he yelled and shots rang out.

Officers quickly responded to the home and made entry into the house through the front door of the home and discovered Tolliver.

According to Densmore, a number of witnesses heard the noise and saw four to five males running north in the alley from the scene. Densmore suggests those involved contact police regarding the shooting, before they become implicated in Tolliver’s death.
