Thomas B. Hardy

GettyImages_161058108CENTRALIA — Thomas B. Hardy, 70, of Centralia, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at St. Mary’s Health Center in Richmond Heights, Mo.

He was born June 1, 1944 in Centralia, the son of Andrew and Marguerite (Orrison) Hardy. Thomas married Kathy (Buchholz) Hardy on May 13, 1986 Hardy picin Centralia, and she still survives in Centralia.

Mr. Hardy is survived by his wife; daughter Tomi Jeane Garren and husband Ty of Alabama; and brother David Hardy of Centralia.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He worked as clerk for the Alliant Technologies gunpowder plant in Redford, Va. He was involved in organization Fishing for Charities. He was member of Foggy Mountain Bass Club. He served in the U.S. Marines during Vietnam.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2015 14, 2014 at Irvin Funeral Home in Centralia, with Steve Upchurch officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Park. Military Rites will be accorded by American Legion Post #446 and V.F.W. Post #2055.

Friends may call on Friday afternoon from 1-2 p.m.

For those who wish, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, and will be accepted at the Irvin Funeral Home in Centralia, who is in charge of arrangements.
