CENTRALIA — Despite frigid conditions, members of the Centralia Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #229 braved the

brutally cold waters of Carlyle Lake Saturday to take part in the Annual Polar Plunge fundraiser to benefit Special Olympics.
The Centralia team took top honors Saturday raising $11,540 for the cause. They also won top overall team, and Top Gun – which is for most raised by a law enforcement agency.
Congratulations and kudos to all who participated and braved brutally cold water for a worthy cause.
