JEFFERSON COUNTY — Jefferson County Sheriff Travis Allen announced the appointment this morning of a new jail administrator.
Jeremy Miller has been hired to replace Randy Pollard, who left the Jail Administrator position to fill the Jefferson County Circuit Clerk Position.
Miller has worked in Corrections for Jefferson County since 2009 and was currently working as a Lieutenant. Miller was also selected by a poll of the Correction employees that named him best candidate for Jail Administrator.
Sheriff Allen says he believes Miller will be an asset to their management team, and he looks forward to working with Miller in a proactive manner to explore new possibilities for the Jefferson County Justice Center.
