FAYETTE COUNTY — A 19-year old Kinmundy man was sentenced Friday in Fayette County court to 3-years in the Illinois Department of Corrections, after he pleaded guilty to a petition to revoke his probation on an earlier methamphetamine conviction.

Curtis F. Germain had previously been convicted and sentenced to probation on a Class 2 felony charge of possessing meth manufacturing material.
Germain’s prison sentence will run concurrent with an Effingham County conviction for felony criminal sexual abuse with the use of force, for which he was sentenced last month to 30 months in prison.
