CENTRALIA — According to Illinois State Representative Charlie Meier (R-Okawville), the Warren G. Murray Development Center is heading in a positive direction.
Meier says Murray Center is so far included in the FY16 state budget,. He calls that fact very good news, noting it is a positive sign for the future of the Centralia facility’s residents and family members.
Meier has been a strong advocate for providing vital services to persons with special needs and the developmentally disabled.
His advocacy dates back to his first term in 2012 as the Representative who fought for and says he will never stop fighting to keep Murray Center open.
