MOUNT VERNON — The Mt Vernon Police Department and Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, along with hundreds of other law enforcement agencies across the state, will be conducting roadside safety checks Friday night, March 20th.
The checks will focus on removing alcohol impaired drivers from the roadway.
So if you plan to celebrate on the St. Patrick’s Day holiday weekend, drive safely, drive responsibly, and if you plan to drink, have a designated driver.
