CLAY COUNTY — Foul play has not been found to be a factor in a Friday night incident in Clay County that resulted in the death of a 34-year-old Flora woman, who was found laying on the side of Bucktown Lane Friday night.
According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Department, Amber Mahon is believed to have jumped from a moving vehicle on Bucktown Lane, one mile east of the Dieterich Blacktop.
Mahon was flown from the scene to Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, but died Saturday from her injuries.
Illinois State Police are assisting the sheriff’s department with the investigation.
