CRAB ORCHARD — A 67-year-old Hurst man is dead after his car ended up in Crab Orchard Lake Tuesday afternoon.
First responders and a dive team were called out to South Wolf Creek Road at Crab Orchard Lake around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Officials say Neil Honeysett was attempting to back up his car to gain access to the roadway when it went down the embankment and into the lake.
Paramedics tried to revive Honeysett, but he was pronounced dead later that afternoon.
