SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) – Illinois-based Dutch Valley Meats is recalling about 2,400 pounds of meat sold in two counties because of undeclared allergens.

The Illinois Department of Agriculture’s Bureau of Meat and Poultry Inspection announced the product recall Wednesday. The 2-pound oven ready ham loaf contains wheat but it’s not declared on the label.

The ham loafs were made between April 1, 2013, through Feb. 9, 2015. The company based in the central Illinois town of Arthur distributed the loaves to stores in Douglas and Champaign counties.

State inspectors found the potential health hazard during an inspection. No reports of illness have been made to the state or Dutch Valley Meat.

Officials are advising anyone with concerns about illness to contact a health care provider.
