MOUNT VERNON — The City of Mt. Vernon has announced the closure of Richview Road between Pavey Avenue and North 12th Street from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily beginning Monday, April 20, and last for the duration of the week.
The closure is due to construction of curb and sidewalks adjacent to the roadway. The road will be open to traffic outside of the stated work hours.
Motorists are encouraged to use Pavey Avenue, Isabella Avenue, and North 12th Street as a detour route.
