CENTRALIA — Rosalie Leona Meyer, 78, of Centralia, passed away at 12:25 a.m. on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Centralia Manor in Centralia.
She was born on September 21, 1936 in Centralia, the daughter of Berthel and Thelma (Rogers) Rollinson. Rosalie married George Meyer on June 4, 1991 at Madisonville, Tenn.. He still survives in Centralia.
Mrs. Meyer is survived by her husband; two sons Duane Martin and wife Mary,and Troy Martin and wife Julie; daughters Linda Hails and husband Harold, Diana Frese and husband Glenn, Rhonda Tibbs and husband Bob. and Lisa Kracht and husband Gene, all of Centralia; step-daughters Cinnie Hernandez and husband Pedro of Tampa,Fla, and Tracy Bohlmann and husband Todd of Sarasota, Fla; grandchildren Christie Davis, Sara Davis, Louis Davis, Eddie Martin, Allison Martin, Emily Kracht, Mitchell Martin, Hunter Martin, Jonny Frese, Niki Frese. Christina Sullivan, Carly Sullivan, Logan Hernandez, and Michele Bohlmann and Sam Bohlmann; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brothers Berthel Rollinson, Jr., Jimmy Rollinson, Wayne Rollinson, and Dwight Rollinson; sisters Sandy Beane, Christine Slusher, Diane Ali, and Garnetta Vaughn; brothers-in-law Fred Meyer, Jim Meyer, and John Meyer; and sisters-in-law Dorothy Rollinson and Rose Brassel.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson Billy Ripley; brothers Charles, Harold, and Lowell Rollinson; sisters Lodine Goesling, Treva Williams, Caroline Pritchard, and Jennie Davis; brother-in-law Ed Meyer; and sisters-in-law- Mary Hall, Elna Nichols, Nancy Womble, and Linda Kamporth.
She was member of the Moose Lodge. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinal’s and enjoyed camping, flower gardening, and country music. She treasured the time spent with family.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Irvin Funeral Home in Centralia. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, with Pastor Steve Upchurh officiating.
Friends may call from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at the funeral home.
For those who wish, memorials may be made to Senior Services of Marion County or Moose Heart, and will be accepted at the Irvin Funeral Home in Centralia, who is in charge of arrangements.
