JEFFERSON COUNTY — Two Centralia residents are in the Jefferson County Jail after being found in an allegedly stolen vehicle outside an abandoned Jefferson County home.

Captain Liz Burge responded to the area of 23480 North Copple Lane in reference to a vehicle stuck in front of an abandoned residence.

Upon arrival Captain Burge made contact with multiple subjects. After investigating the car was discovered to be stolen from Centralia.

The driver of the vehicle, 22-year-old Dereck Woods, was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and DUI.

A passenger of the vehicle, 21-year-old Katelyn Woolever was arrested on a United States Marshal’s warrant for a drug related probation violation.
