CENTRALIA — Helen Self Clark, 84, of Centralia, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Good Samartian Hospital in Mt Vernon.
She was born the daughter of Claude and Florence (Kemp) Newman in Richview on September 2, 1930. She married Thomas Earl Self and he preceded her in death on October 29, 1980. Then she married Henry Eugene Clark and he preceded her in death on June 3, 2011.
Survivors include her two sons Danny Self and wife Anna of Centralia, and Frank Self of Centralia; three daughters Pam Scott and husband J.D. of Centralia, Dana Rowcliff and husband Clifford of Centralia, and Melanie Spihlmann and husband John of Belton, Mo; sisters Vivian Whittenburg of Centralia, and Kathryn James of Centralia; brothers Kenny Newman of Sandoval, Keith Newman of Richview, Ronnie Newman of Arkansas, and Tommy Newman of Richview; nine grandchildren Cindy, Brian, Melissa, Billy, Annette, Chris, Nick, Ashley, and Clifford; 14 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by both her parents; sister Evelyn Green; brothers Gary and Harold Newman; grandson Craig; and great-granddaughter Alexis.
Mrs. Self-Clark was a member of the Centralia VFW and Moose. She was member of Richview Baptist Church. She enjoyed camping, gardening, and crafts.
Services for Mrs. Self-Clark will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Rodger Randolph officiating.
Visitation will be held from 9 until 11 Wednesday morning.
