Nancy Mae Claypool Pinkston

CENTRALIA — Nancy Mae Claypool Pinkston, 62 of Centralia, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital in Centralia.

picture-pubShe was born the daughter of James P. & Pearlie M. (Simer) Claypool on April 26, 1953.

Survivors include her daughters Cassandra Kinney and husband Paul of Centralia, and Maylee Dierks and husband Kris of Steeleville; sons Jason Pinkston of Centralia, Robert Morris and wife Lyn of Belleville, D. Paul Pinkston and wife Kim of North Carolina, Stevie Pinkston and wife Jerriann of Junction City, and PaulĀ  Shah of Centralia; sister Dianna Roberts and husband Dean of Utah; brothers Joseph Claypool and wife Sue of Virginia, Eddie Claypool and wife Vickie of Irvington, and Mike Claypool and wife Chelle of Centralia; special friend whom she loved Randy “Cowboy” Davis; 37 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Pinkston was preceded in death by her parents, brother Dewayne Claypool, and nephew Joseph Claypool Jr.

Mrs. Pinkston owned and operated a beauty salon. She also worked as waitress and laborer. She raised and loved all children that walked in her home including many nieces and nephews. Nancy had the heart of an angel she offered her heart and home to those in need for many years. She touched many lives through her children and through employment. She enjoyed going to karaoke, sewing, and crafts. She loved to dance and spend time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed baking, bingo, and living life.

A visitation will be held from 4 – 6 p.m., Friday, June 12, 2015 at Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia. A celebration of life service will start at 6 p.m. Butch Shedd will officiate. Cremation rights will follow the service.
