EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. (AP) — The city of East St. Louis has imposed a curfew for juveniles after two teens were shot, one fatally, last week.
Police Chief Michael Floore says 15-year-old Anton Daniels died Sunday after he was shot on Thursday night along with another boy. The other boy’s condition wasn’t immediately known.
The Belleville News-Democrat reports that effective immediately juveniles can’t be on city streets after 10 p.m. on weekdays and 12 a.m. on weekends unless they are with a parent.
Floore said police haven’t made any arrests in the shootings and are investigating.
In a separate shooting a 36-year-old man was found shot dead inside a home Saturday afternoon.
