Frank Thorman Robison

CENTRALIA — Frank Thorman Robison, 88, of Centralia, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon.

picture-pubHe was born the son of Frank Robison and Dorothy (Thorman) Robison on March 22, 1927 in Carlyle.

Survivors include nieces Dawn Schwalm and husband Kevin of Centralia and Kristy Hertel and husband Greg of Salem; nephews Larry Morgan of Dix, Steve Pelz of Arizona, and Gary Pelz of Oklahoma; great-nieces Karly Schwalm of Centralia and Adrienne Clevenger and husband Nate of Kansas; great-great-nephew Ryan Clevenger; great-great-niece Josie Clevenger; and close friends Adrian and Kathy Heuermann and Don Shelton.

Mr. Robison was preceded in death by his parents, sister Betty Hutchins, and brother Bert Robison.

]Frank was an interior decorator. He attended First Church Christ Scientist in Centralia. He never met a stranger and everyone called him “Uncle Frank.”

Per Mr. Robison’s wishes, he will be cremated. A visitation will be held from 5  to 6  p.m. at Irvin Macz Funeral Homes in Centralia on Friday, June 19, 2015.

Following the visitation, a memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. the same evening. Kathy Heuermann will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
