JEFFERSON COUNTY — A Sunday night crash in Jefferson County sent two people to jail, after a dispute reportedly broke out between the two individuals.
According to sheriff’s reports, around 6:35 Sunday night, deputies responded to the area of Dix-Texico Rad and North Miller Lake Lane in reference to a wreck and a dispute.
Upon arrival deputies made contact with 27-year-old Judson Connaway and 21-year-old Brittany Bunton. The two had conflicting stories about what happened as reported by independent witnesses.
Connaway was taken into custody for aggravated DUI, driving on a suspended license, no seatbelt, driving too fast for conditions, obstructing justice, and is also being held on a home invasion charge from a previous case.
Bunton was arrested for obstructing justice. Both are being held at the Jefferson County Justice Center with bail to be set.
