SANDOVAL — The Sandoval Fireman’s Picnic has been postponed, due to heavy rainfall this summer.

The event was originally scheduled to be held tomorrow and Saturday, but heavy rains have forced the 66th Annual Fireman’s Picnic to be moved until Friday, August 14, and Saturday, August 15.

In addition to hot and humid temperatures in this weekend’s forecast, continuing showers and thunderstorms are anticipated to bring additional rainfall to an already soggy region.
