ODIN — Craig Evan Williams, 36, of Odin passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015 in Odin. He was born the son of Bruce and Linda Ann (Hamblin) Williams on October 2, 1978. He married Brandi Milner on May 21, 2005 in the Odin Christian Church.
Survivors include in his wife Brandi of Odin; three children Savannah, Eric, and Karter, and guardian to Kayla Bray all of Odin; his parents Bruce and Linda Williams of Odin; two brothers Shawn Williams and wife Julie of Valmeyer, and Seth Williams and wife Jenny of Odin; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Evans and Marjorie Williams, James Hamblin, Eunice and Rex Conley.
Craig was a member and deacon of the Odin Christian Church. He was actively involved with their youth group. He served on the Odin Fire Protection District for 8 years and was employed with Radiac Abrasives for 10 years.
He coached little league and peewee basketball for several years. He also organized and coached summer church league softball. He was an avid sports fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues. He loved spending time in the outdoors and playing his X-box. But most of all he treasured the time he spent with his friends and family.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Odin Christian Church in Odin with Pastor Chuck Smith and Brother Claude Howell officiating. Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2015 and one hour prior to the services on Thursday. Burial will follow at Harvey’s Point Cemetery in Kell.
