MARION COUNTY — Bail has been set at $25,000 for a 32-year-old Christopher woman formally charged Friday morning in Marion County Court with drug and burglary charges, after she was reportedly caught in that act of burglarizing a home in Iuka Thursday afternoon.

Nicole Pratt has been charged with Class 1 felony residential burglary, Class 3 felony possession of less than 5-grams of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to reports, a resident of the Iuka residence returned home Thursday afternoon to see a female identified as Pratt exiting his home and took away her car keys after noting an iPad in her possession belonged to the alleged burglary victims.

When deputies arrived at the home a short time later, they reportedly found Pratt sitting in her car, where they report they found under the seat of the car a drug pipe and residue that field tested positive for meth.

A K-9 unit searched the home and confirmed Pratt was alone.
