FRANKLIN COUNTY — Former West City water clerk Jean Bragg is set to make her first court appearance in Franklin County on Aug. 11.

The 44-year-old Bragg was indicted Friday by a Franklin County Grand Jury for theft and official misconduct. She is accused of stealing between $10,000 and $100,000 from the Village of West City while she was an employee.

Prosecutors say Bragg did this between March of 2012 and October of last year. She was put on administrative leave last October after an audit revealed discrepancies in the department.
