MARION COUNTY — A 23-year-old Salem man has been sentenced to time served after he pleaded guilty today in Marion County Court to felony aggravated domestic battery.

Connor Williams was sentenced to 23-days in jail, with credit for 23-days served, and per a negotiated plea agreement was also ordered to serve 3-years probation, complete drug and alcohol evaluations and treatments, abstain from drugs and alcohol with testing, complete Men Challenging Violence program and have no contact with his victim. He must also pay $922 in fines and fees.

Williams has been held in the Marion County Jail with bail set at $25,000 since his arrest earlier this month on a Class 2 felony charge of aggravated domestic battery including strangling.

He is next due in court September 11, for a status on his court ordered job search.
