CENTRALIA — Police are searching for a 16-year-old male who is believed involved in a shooting incident Sunday night.

According to Centralia police, calls of shots fired in the North Lincoln area came in around 7:36 p.m. Sunday.

Reports indicate a number of juveniles were arguing, when the 16-year-old now being sought left the area and returned with a gun, firing several shots toward a person.

Fortunately no one was struck during the shooting, but the suspect is not yet in custody. Detectives think it’s likely the firearm used in the incident was stolen.
