CLINTON COUNTY — The Illinois Department of Transportation is alerting motorists to lane closures starting next week in Clinton County.

Work installing pavement patches on Illinois 127 in lane closures starting August 10, from William Road in Carlyle to Keyesport Road on Illinois 127.

Traffic control with flaggers will be set up daily, allowing one lane of traffic through the work zone. The work is expected to be completed by November 15, weather permitting.

Delays are expected, and the department advises motorists to follow all construction signs and drive with caution through the work zones.

Howell Paving, of Salem, is the contractor on the project.
