MARION COUNTY — Bail has been set at $25,000 for a 20-year-old Centralia woman following an incident Wednesday night at a retail store on North Elm Street.

According to reports, Centralia police responded around 5 p.m. Wednesday, to the Family Dollar Store for a retail theft report.

They subsequently arrested Leigh Ann Sullivan. She was formally charged in Marion County Court Thursday with Class 2 felony aggravated battery of a peace officer, Class 4 felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor retail theft.

Sullivan was already on probation for a 2013 conviction for felony possession of a controlled substance. Prosecutors had filed a petition last week to revoke that probation and today amended that petition to include the new charges and information that led to those charges.

She remains in the Marion County Jail, with bail set at $25,000 in all pending matters.
