Frances Marie O’Brien

LEBANON — Frances Marie O’Brien, 89, of Lebanon, formerly of Centralia, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at ScanCedar Ridge in Lebanon.

She was born the daughter of Arthur and Florence Culver in Sioux City, Iowa on November 10, 1925. She married Edward J. O’Brien on July 8, 1950 in Sioux City, Iowa and he preceded her in death in March 16, 2011.

Survivors include son Jack O’Brien of Florida; daughters Florence O’ Brien of Centralia, and Julie Kennedy of Godrey; grandchildren Dustin, Amber, Samantha, Branden, Devin, Jodie, Cindy, and Donna; great-grandchildren Beatrice and Rachel.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by both her parents;sister Juanita Culver; brother Boyd Culver; and child Terry O’Brien.

Mrs. O’Brien was member of the Centralia Moose. She was also longtime Red Cross volunteer. She enjoyed bowling, hiking, cooking, and golfing. She was avid Cardinal Fan. She was dedicated mother and grandmother.

Services for Mrs. O’Brien will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia with Pastor Seth Baltzell officiating. Burial will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at later date.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Centralia Red Cross. Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia is in charge of arrangements.
