FAYETTE COUNTY — A 21-year-old man who was wanted by the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office in connection with a burglary case is in custody, after he was arrested in Macon County Friday.

Kody L. McDermith is charged with Class 2 felony burglary and two counts Class 4 felony criminal damage to property.

He, along with 36-year-old Nicky L. Maness, were being sought in connection with a burglary that occurred south of Ramsey on County Road 2400N west of U.S. Highway 51 during the early morning hours of August 23rd.

There is no word on the status of Maness.
