Bail set at $50k for Salem woman charged with residential burglary

MARION COUNTY — Bail has been set at $50,000 for a 27-year-old Salem woman charged with felony residential burglary.
Charissa Plumb was arrested Monday by Salem police on suspicion she was involved in the Saturday morning burglary of a garage on South Washington in Salem.

According to police reports, the people responsible for the burglary to the garage ran from the scene when the home owner interrupted them, but they had already removed tools from the building.

Police say the subjects returned later in the day looking to retrieve a bag of tools that had been left by a neighbor’s house, but the owner had already located the tools.
