JEFFERSON COUNTY — Multiple people have been sentenced recently in Jefferson County Court to prison after being convicted in separate drug-related cases, according to a press release from State’s Attorney Doug Hoffman.

A 36-yar-old Mt. Vernon man was sentenced to six-months in prison, after he pleaded guilty to unlawful delivery of methamphetamine, a Class 2 felony and unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a Class 4 felony. Anthony Garrison was sentenced to serve six months in prison.

On Oct. 27, 2014, Garrison delivered methamphetamine to a confident source working with the Joint Narcotics Division. On February 23, 2012, Garrison was also found by the narcotics division to have heroin.

A 34-year-old Mt. Vernon man was sentenced to three-years in prison, after he pleaded guilty to unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, a Class 2 felony.

On October 3, 2013, Ryan Pigg delivered heroin to a confidential source working with the narcotics division.

And a 23-year-old Mt. Vernon man was sentenced to four-years in prison, after he pleaded guilty to unlawful delivery of methamphetamine, a Class 2 felony.

On January 22, 2013, Zacerie Richardson delivered methamphetamine to a confidential source working with the narcotics division.
