JEFFERSON COUNTY — An early Wednesday morning incident led to the Saturday arrest of a Rolling Meadows man on multiple charges including aggravated arson after he allegedly set his camper on fire.

According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, 44-year-old Michael Allison was taken into custody Saturday for alleged aggravated arson, aggravated domestic battery, and domestic battery.

Reports say deputies were dispatched at approximately 4:48 Wednesday morning to Rolling Meadows in reference to a domestic dispute and a man attempting to burn his camper.

Upon their arrival the camper was fully involved in flames and the male subject was gone. Jefferson County Fire Protection was able to get the fire under control.

Jefferson County Detectives and the Illinois State Fire Marshal conducted the investigation, and on Saturday Allison was taken into custody by Jefferson County deputies.

Allison remains in the Jefferson County Jail with bail set at $100,000.
