CENTRALIA — Separate hit-and-run incidents early Wednesday have Centralia police searching for the person alleged to be driving a stolen Jeep in the incidents.

Centralia Police say the person abandoned the Jeep after first stealing it from a home on Charles Drive, then striking a 22-year old man riding a bicycle near 14th and Hickory Streets, and later striking a parked vehicle in the 300 block of North Beech Street.

An employee of the Burlington Northern Railroad reported finding the Jeep abandoned on railroad property near the former Little Fuse facility.

While the cyclist reportedly suffered injuries when he was struck by the Jeep, police say he refused medical treatment for those injuries. No other injuries were reported.
