MOUNT VERNON — Mt. Vernon police are investigating a Saturday night armed robbery of a local video store.

According to reports, officers responded around 11 p.m. Saturday to Family Video in the 2600 block of Broadway, on a report of an armed robbery.

Reports indicate a male subject wearing a red mask robbed the store and fled eastbound on foot. No further details are available at this time.
