Erica Bieber died when she reportedly fell or jumped from a truck being driven by 25-year-old Ethan E. Daniels, of Greenville, who was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies for alleged driving under the influence. He posted bond and been released.

Daniels’ was reportedly driving northbound on Highway 51 just north of Ferrydale, when the incident occurred. First responders were called to the scene around 1 a.m., and Bieber was transported to the hospital in Centralia where she was pronounced dead.

Cannon says there were no other injuries discovered, or any evidence contrary to the initial report. Bieber suffered multiple blunt force trauma injuries to her head and neck, and died immediately due to cerebro/cranial disruption in the incident.

Various samples were collected in the autopsy for toxicological testing to determine whether any substances may have played a role in her death.

The Dunnell Funeral Home in Greenville is assisting the family with arrangements.
