Ronald “Ronnie” Yeager

CENTRALIA — Ronald “Ronnie” Yeager, 58, of Centralia, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family.

Yeager Obit PicRonnie was born on March 27, 1957 in Chicago, IL, a son to Elbert E. “Gene”  and Opal (Anderson) Yeager. He married Sherry (Moore) Yeager on February 10, 1979 in Centralia.

In addition to his wife, Ronnie is survived by two step-daughters Shelley and husband James of Centralia and Misty Dehn and husband Jeff of Centralia; one brother Marty Yeager of Fulton, Tenn; two sisters Shelia Parker and husband Wayne of Union City, Tenn., and Susan Flemming of Vandalia, IL; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; one brother: Danny Yeager; one brother-in-law: Reed Flemming.

Ronnie enjoyed fishing and golfing. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Funeral Services for Ronald “Ronnie” Yeager will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia.

Visiting hours will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, December 21, 2015 at the funeral home and also from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday morning at the funeral home.

Memorial Donations may be made to Relay for Life or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and will be received at Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home.
