Jack Reeder was charged with Class 1 felony burglary after an investigation by Jefferson County Sheriff’s detectives led to his December 17 arrest.

According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, on December 12, deputies responded to an address in Bonnie in reference to a burglary.

A report was taken and forwarded to the Jefferson County Detective Division. Upon a complete and thorough investigation Reeder was taken into custody and the items reportedly stolen were recovered.

“I am very proud of my Deputies and Detectives,” says Sheriff Travis Allen. “There is nothing I love more than to see a thief off of the streets and behind bars. Reeder has been arrested for multiple charges in the past and at least for now he is behind bars and not out victimizing our community”

In 2007 Reeder was sentenced in Jefferson County Court to 5 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections, after he was convicted of Class 1 felony burglary, and in 2004 he was sentenced to 3-years in IDOC for felony burglary,
