MARION COUNTY — A one-car crash Tuesday has claimed the life of a 46-year-old Salem man after he lost control of his vehicle just south of Salem.

Michael Becker was pronounced dead at Salem Township Hospital from multiple blunt force traumas to the head and chest.

A State Police accident reconstructionist responded to the scene, but has not yet released an opinion on the crash.

Accident reports say just before 9 p.m. Tuesday, Becker was traveling alone on Route 37 when he lost control of his vehicle near the CJ Heck Road intersection.
