MARION COUNTY — Bail has been set at $25,000 for a 22-year-old Centralia man arrested Wednesday for allegedly firing three shots from a car he was riding in on South Hickory in Centralia.
Marquise Adams was formally charged in Marion County Court with Class 4 felony aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
Police say after a Adams went to a home in the 200 block of South Hickory early Wednesday asking to purchase marijuana, the resident asked him to leave. Adams reportedly fired three shots from a car at the home as he left. No one was hit in the shooting and no injuries were reported.
Adams has been appointed a public defender and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing in the case on January 14.
