Our sister station WQRL in Benton, reports police were called to the school immediately and started an investigation.

School officials say students went to their classrooms, and police went room to room with a metal detector.

The classrooms, students and lockers were checked and nothing was found. No arrests were made at the school.

Officials say students will be in class today with officers keeping a close eye over the campus. On Monday, the school was put on a hard lockdown follow a bomb scare that turned up nothing.

School leaders say tighter security measures could result from these two incidents.
