MARION COUNTY — Four people have been charged this morning in Marion County Court with felony meth-related charges, following their arrests by Marion County Sheriff’s deputies.
According to court records, 30-year-old Jordan Cody, of South Brookside in Wamac, was charged with three counts Class 2 felony possession of less than 15 grams of methamphetamine precursors. Bail for Cody has been set at $20,000.
The three others, 25-year-old Katie N. Garcia, of Centralia, 18-year-old Tabitha Street, of Wamac, and 19-year-old Gage Devers, of Centralia, are also each charged with Class 2 felony possession of less than 15 grams of meth precursors.Bail for Garcia, Street and Devers has been set at $10,000 each.
They allegedly claimed Cody agreed to pay each of them $50 and provide them with $50 worth of meth if they provided him with the pseudoephedrine necessary to manufacture the drug.
All four defendants are scheduled for January 26 first appearances with court appointed attorneys.
